Aspendos Ancient City

A magnificent ancient city in the footsteps of history

Located in the Ancient City of Aspendos, one of the most visited ruins in Turkey, Aspendos Ancient Theater is a magnificent historical building with its size, durability and stage building. The theater located in Belkıs Village of Antalya's Serik district was built in the 2nd century during the reign of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. The theater, most of which has survived to the present day without any damage, hosts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year with its magnificent structure. The International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival is held every year in the ancient theater located half an hour away from Barut Hemera.
